Hey coffee lovers!
Today, I'm going to share with you how to master the art of fresh brew coffee at home.
Imagine this, a chilly morning, you're still in your pajamas, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills your kitchen. Sounds amazing, right?
Let's dive in!
First things first,
Freshness:
Always start with fresh beans.
Coffee is at its best within two weeks of roasting.
So, invest in a good quality bag and make sure it's freshly roasted. Our Best Sellers Sample Pack is a great way to explore a range of freshly roasted beans and find your favorite.
Trust me, it makes a world of difference.
Grind:
Next, grind your beans just before brewing.
A burr grinder is your best friend here.
It gives you a consistent grind size, which is crucial for a balanced flavor.
Aim for a medium grind, like sea salt.
Water:
Now, let's talk about water.
Use filtered water, because tap water can have impurities that affect the taste.
Heat it to about 200 degrees Fahrenheit, or just off the boil. Too hot, and you'll scorch your coffee; too cold, and you'll miss out on those delicious flavors.
The coffee-to-water ratio is key.
I suggest a 1-15 ratio. That's one gram of coffee to every 15 grams of water.
It might seem precise, but getting it right really elevates your brew.
Brewing method
I love a good pour-over. It gives you control over the extraction process. Our Pour Over Coffee Maker is perfect for this — pour slowly in a circular motion, making sure all the grounds are saturated.
Take your time and enjoy the process.
Finally, savor the moment.
Pour your coffee into a pre-warmed mug and take that first sip.
Notice the flavors, the aroma, the warmth.
It's more than just a drink; it's an experience.
So there you have it!
Freshly brewed coffee at home, made to perfection.
Enjoy your coffee journey!
Happy brewing!
