We are a family owned small business entity. We are purely passionate about everything related to coffee . We firmly believe that freshness is the most important ingredient to a perfect cup of coffee every single time. That is precisely what we are striving for with our brand - Fresh Brew , to deliver absolute freshness every time you brew coffee or tea.
How it started
My love for coffee started even from my early school days. I was always curious to observe my Amma (mother) making fresh home made coffee. She first boils water then adds ground coffee powder (coffee and chicory mixture) to the boiling water. She waits patiently until it completely settles down. Then she carefully filters what is called coffee ‘decoction’. She boils milk separately and adds decoction to the boiled milk to make fresh home made filter coffee. Amma’s love for coffee is so profound that on days when she observes fasting , she takes only coffee 4-5 times throughout the day and nothing else. When we go on vacation, she doesn’t like to eat outside, she just drinks coffee and satisfies her appetite.
Love for coffee is always in our entire family. My Nanna (father) always wanted to start a small coffee shop in the basement of our home but it never happened. That’s how this idea got imprinted in my mind.
AHA moment
Bringing it all together, when we visited Bharath ( India) sometime ago, we went to a hill station named Coorg in South India well known for its weather and nature wonders . Coorg is also one of the largest producers of coffee in the country. We stayed at a beautiful resort in the middle of coffee estates . With the help of our local tour guide, we visited coffee plantation and experienced the entire process from coffee sourcing, drying , roasting, grinding. That was a big AHA moment for us.
When we returned to the US , we started inquiring about coffee sourcing, roasting , supply chain and distribution. Well, you all know the rest of the story. We are always testing, learning, tasting, discovering and rediscovering various flavours, profiles that coffee ( and tea) has to offer.

Coffee sourcing
Single origin coffee
All our coffee beans are sourced from farmers across the globe who follow environmental friendly processes and adher to the highest quality standards. Coffee cherries are hand picked, processed, sun dried and then hand sorted for packaging.
Flavoured coffee
All our flavoured coffees start as specialty grade single origin coffee roasted in small batches. Each order is then carefully flavoured with high quality natural flavouring oils while still warm.
Community outreach and social responsibility
At Fresh Brew Cafe, our mission is to promote good and feeling of togetherness. We are always at the forefront of providing food, shelter, education and good health in the community. To that extent, we have donated and have been donating to local charities, schools, food banks and hospitals. We will continue to support our social causes- Food for all, shelter for all, education for all and health for all.
